Photoshop Tutorial: 3 Ways to Using Levels

Difficulty: Beginner.

* This tutorial was made using PS CS3.

To bring up the Levels Dialog, either hit CTRL-L or go to IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS>LEVELS then select ONE of the following techniques:

1. Click the “Auto” button and then the “OK” button.

2. Drag the black slider until it reaches the beginning of the histogram. Then do the same for the white slider on opposite side.

3. Select the black picker and look for a black color in the photo and click on it. Do the same with the white picker on a white color and then click “OK”.
